Founded in 2016 by Lawrence Borha. He is dedicated to helping aspiring basketball players elevate their game and achieve their dreams of making high school, college, and even professional teams. Lawrence Borha
Lawrence Borha, born in New York City in 1985, emerged as a basketball prodigy from an early age. Growing up in the bustling streets of NYC, Lawrence honed his skills on the concrete courts of the city's playgrounds, fueled by a relentless passion for the game.
His journey to basketball stardom began at McKee Staten Island Tech High School, where he quickly established himself as a standout player. Known for his electrifying scoring ability and tenacious defense, Lawrence dominated the high school basketball scene, earning recognition as the most outstanding player and winning the prestigious Jaques award. His remarkable talent was further highlighted by leading all of NYC in scoring, averaging an impressive 29 points per game.
Driven by his ambition to compete at the highest level, Lawrence took his talents to the University of Utah, where he played four memorable seasons from 2005 to 2009. During his collegiate career, Lawrence made a significant impact on the court, contributing to the team's success and capturing a conference championship. His stellar performance earned him accolades, including selection to the All-Tournament team in the Mountain West Conference tournament and defensive team honors, as well as third-team All-League recognition.
Following his collegiate career, Lawrence continued his basketball journey overseas, playing professionally in Germany and The Netherlands. His exceptional skills and dedication to the game propelled him to All-Star status, further solidifying his reputation as a formidable force on the court.
After his illustrious playing career, Lawrence decided to transition into teaching and coaching, channeling his passion for basketball into empowering others. Devoting his life to education, Lawrence became a special education teacher, using his experiences and knowledge to make a positive impact in the lives of his students. Additionally, he pursued his passion for basketball by becoming a skilled trainer and coach, sharing his expertise with aspiring athletes and helping them reach their full potential.
Through his remarkable journey from the streets of NYC to the professional basketball arenas of Europe, Lawrence Borha has left an indelible mark on the basketball world. His commitment to excellence, both on and off the court, serves as an inspiration to all who aspire to achieve greatness in sports and in life.
